Every screen hangs off an academic year, so last year's shape survives when this year's changes — a class renamed today does not rewrite the report card printed in March.

A section register marked in one screen, everyone present by default. It refuses a declared holiday or a non-working day and says which — so a stray weekend never quietly skews a term.
The teacher's daily record and the parent's diary are one dataset with two audiences. Marked out of marks, or simply complete, incomplete or excused.
A term can be weighted across papers, tests, homework, classwork and attendance — the school decides the mix, and decides it at the start of the term. Class position is computed, and a published result is frozen.

Each portal consumes what the previous one produced. Attendance a teacher marks is what a parent opens; marks a teacher enters are what the report card prints.

An unmarked paper, a month with no register, a term nobody has graded — each shows as unknown rather than as a score of nothing. A dash, never 0%.
A reversed payment, a rolled-back promotion, a cancelled certificate, a departed student — each stays on the record, marked.
A reprint reproduces the document a family was handed, even after the school changes its grading scale afterwards.
Attendance percentage, what a student scored, what an invoice is worth — each computed in exactly one place, so a screen and a printed document cannot disagree.
Deleting a class that still holds students is refused, and it says how many are in the way.
